Sea Ray introduces two new models, the 2011 250 and 270 SLX

For 2011, boat builder Sea Ray introduces two new models: the 250 and 270 SLX. Stemming from the sport boat line, the 2011 250 SLX is an open deck boat with features that make it much higher-ended than the other models of the line. This boat is positioned as a compact and functional offering, providing a higher level of luxury that will appeal to buyers of luxury cars.

The Sea Ray 250 SLX comes with an ergonomic helm distinguished by a leather dash with contrasting double stitching, which gives it a high-end look. The instrumentation and seats have received the same sophisticated styling that creates an impression of wealth.

On board, several features enhance the boat’s functionality, including a small bathroom dotted with a larger access door as well as a new integrated swim platform. Engineered to deliver higher performances, the Sea Ray 250 SLX comes with a relatively powerful base motorization with its 300-hp MerCruiser 350 MAG. This engine is coupled to a standard Bravo III sterndrive with two counter-rotating propellers. With an additional optional motorization providing up to 430 hp and its deep-V hull, the Sea Ray 250 SLX is claimed to deliver sportier performances and driving experience than the competition.

2011 Sea Ray 270 SLX 2011
The 270 SLX model sports the same basic features as the 250 model, but in a more imposing format. At the front, passengers will enjoy plenty of room thanks to two bench seats that are convertible into a sunpad, while a wet bar, located behind the driver, may include a sink, a refrigerator and a grill. The Sea Ray 270 SLX boasts an impressive list of standards, including no less than 13 beverage holders, but owners can also choose to customize their 270 SLX with numerous add-ons. Speaking of motorization, it is dotted with the same 300-hp MerCruiser 350 MAG engine with Bravo III sterndrive that equips the Sea Ray 250 SLX.
