This year, Sea Ray is pulling the plug on the Pachanga 22, a model it reintroduced in 2009. Initially released in 1969, the first generation, the Pachanga SRX, was produced from 1969-1971, while the second generation, the Pachanga 2, was offered from 1986-1991. The 80s generation included three distinct models: the Pachanga 22, the Pachanga 27 and the Pachanga 32 featuring a twin engine.
In 2009, Sea Ray re-launched the Pachanga to celebrate the model’s 50-year anniversary, but poor sales figures have proven fatal for the model this year. Since 2009, only one model has been on offer, the Pachanga 22, which embodied the essence of the 1986 version.
That’s not the only adjustment Sea Ray has made to its 2011 line-up. The 210 Fission and 210 Select have been merged into the 210 SLX (the full Fission family is still available). Likewise, the 230 Fission and 230 Select now go under the 230 SLX moniker.
