Two years ago at the Miami Boat Show, Mercury Racing introduced the Mercury Racing 1350, an all-new engine specially designed for high-performance boats. The arrival of this 1350 HP turbocharged engine marked the end of an era for the 1075 SCi which, along with the 1200 SCi, was one of Mercury Racing’s most powerful engines.

According to Speedonthwater.com, the last pair of 1075 SCi engines produced was included on an Outerlimits 44 SL. That’s how it ended for this legendary engine first introduced in 2004. This 9.1L V8 featured two Lysholm superchargers – one for each row of four cylinders – and delivered 1,075 HP.
