Rec Boat Holdings was awarded the “2012” European Powerboat Award” presented by Boote Magazine at the Düsseldorf Boat Show
in Germany this past weekend. The Four Winns S215 model took the crown beating out four other competitors in the 25-feet and below category.
“We are extremely proud to receive this award,” stated Roch Lambert, Group President,Rec Boat Holdings. “It is a true endorsement of our renewed philosophy on engineering and design and what it means to our consumers. Producing an award-winning product truly
makes our brands stand out from the rest, as the elite group of judges has confirmed through this competition,” Lambert concluded.
The judging panel, made up of test drivers from seven European nations as well as several journalists, agreed on 25 boats in five categories. Four Winns competed with boat builders from around the world with the field being narrowed to manufacturers from England via Sweden and Germany to Poland. Many new boats being introduced across several markets made the judging very challenging.
The S215, a 21′-4″ closed-bow sport boat that features the Four Winns exclusive Stable Vee hull design, offers consumers a versatile, spacious craft for a full day on the water. The company also recently introduced the V275 sport cruiser at the Paris Boat Show and several new models in their Horizon line at the annual dealer meeting last summer.
“Our new product development plan is very aggressive,” stated Lambert. “Consumer reaction has been quite positive to our new products and we feel very confident that our position in the marketplace is solid for strong growth in the future.”
