The 12th edition of the Montreal Boat and Water Sports Show is being launched this week and, as usual, it will be held at Place Bonaventure in Montreal from January 27th to January 31st, 2011. This show is the biggest event of its kind in Quebec, attracting on average 30,000 visitors, and introducing this year more than 400 different boats and 250 exhibitors. It also features many novelties, including the latest trends in design, as seen on the 2011 models. Let’s not forget the new equipment products, including ship electronics, an ever-growing market.
New this year, visitors will be able to discover the Triumph fishing boat line as well as Southland HRV Liberty, a one-of-a kind concept developed by Quebec pontoon builder Southland. Half-house, half-boat, the HRV is in fact a hybrid floating RV providing all the required commodities to live full time on the water. Sailboat enthusiasts will be able to admire the Archambault sailboat line, while trawler boats (Mainship and Cape Island Trawler) will make a first appearance.
