From September, 11th until the 13th, the Jacques-Cartier Basin in the Old Port of Montreal will welcome 115 boats of all types for the 6th edition of the Montreal In-Water Boat Show, a completely free event that gather each year more than 12,000 visitors .

Created in 2010 under the leadership of the Quebec Marine Association (QMA), the Montreal In-Water Boat Show displays the latest boating trends in the heart of the city. During 3 days, this outdoor show give visitors the opportunity to visit and even try, free of charge, many boats some of which are on a public premiere. Visitors will also enjoy the discounts offered by many exhibitors.

Luxury, peace and pleasure
For 6 years now, the Montreal In-Water Boat Show is definitely an outstanding showcase for Quebec boats dealers, but also for water sports fans who never miss this opportunity to visit in real life conditions, more than a hundred watercrafts.

Talking about amazement, this year the prize will definitely go to Boisvert Marine dealer who will unveil for the first time to visitors its Monte Carlo MCY, a 65 feet yacht in length valued at $ 4.5 million. Built with carbon fiber by French manufacturer Bénéteau, this boat is a real floating hotel combining luxury and technology. With its modern design, the Monte-Carlo seduces by the elegance of its interior cabins and its timeless style exterior inspired by its Italian creators.

Sailing boaters will not be left aside as the Boat Show will host a Bénéteau Oceanis brought by Gosselin marina. With its sleek design, spacious cabins with noble materials and its many technological innovations, this 48 feet sailboat will delight the audience.

Finally, angling enthusiasts will be thrilled to know that the In-Water Boat show will host for the first time various types of Princecraft fishing Boats. The Mordus de la pêche TV host show Cyril Chauquet has already confirmed his presence in order to share his passion and exchange with sport fishermen.

Get free boating lessons
Experienced boaters and beginners are offered on-water training during the Boat Show. Provided by the Discover Boating Hands-On Skills Training (HOST) program, lessons are free of charge and aims to educate Canadians to become confident and safe boaters. Lessons will be taught by a professional from the Aquanaute training centre. Each training course is 60 minutes long and participation is limited to 4 persons per boat.
